freelander KV6 cutting out

Fuel Pump is where i would start. It will be the lift pump in the tank that is on its way out, TD4 cars suffer very similair problems and its always the pump.

there is a known problem with KV6, Cranking sensor for the cold start, and Cam sesor for warm start. You might want to check the cam sensor.

Sounds to me more like fuel pump/filters problems,Cam sensor would have brought on yer mil light i would have thought

I agree with Mondo here. I'm pretty sure if a cam or crank sensor pack up the mill warning light comes on. I don't think it refers to a mill as the Freelander can't mill wheat into flour

it is possible mondo and always look for the cheapest solution

I think I would try the fuel filter first then the pump.

Any news on the Freelander Sapper481?
