Freelander Interior light

Hi all, the front interior light on my 2002 TD4 freelander only comes on via the door switches, neither the main light or the map reading lights will work independently, the back one works ok, any suggestions why this is?

can only be a u/s switch, have you tried bridging it out ?

I'll give it a go, there are 3 switches though...

here's a helpful suggestion; why not ask on the gaylander board???

check the connection on front interior light contacts sit on rails of printed circuit board
