Any help? I've just had some garage fitted drop links fitted to my 51 plate TD4. Within 3 days they have snapped!!

Not sure what make has anyone got any suggestions for after market products....or shall I just go genuine LR parts?

still unusual with pattern they normally just last a year ,fit genuine or oe

snapped! - they must be very bad quality. Even the cheap ebay ones I have used will last a year or so.

Nearside completely snapped off...offside rubber came away

First, make sure you buy quality & definitely avoid rubbish like britpart. Next make sure your antiroll bar hasn't moved, the collars which keep it central rust & fall off which means the bar can move an inch or two over to one side. Finally, make sure your garage doesn't use an air wrench when torqueing them up.

thanks guys I've plumped for the LR genuine parts. Fingers crossed...I'll pass on the info to the mach about the anti roll bar itself.

How good are your shock absorbers ?

They might need replacing.

Shcoks are fine they pass the bounce test. They just comeback to rest no bouncin about!
