Freelander creaking!!

Any advice on what causes the creaking on the front end of my 01 TD4, mostly when going slowly forward or in reverse with the steering on full lock.

Creaking... could be your tyres rubbing on your radius arms, although the noise would be more of a rubber on metal rubbing noise. So might not be this.

Put your steering to full lock left then right, and inspect the back of the wheel to see if it is rubbing on anything. It might only do it on one side. You can correct it by setting stops. Look first then let us know.
