Freelander bonnet cable snapped under bonnet

Easy fix you need a sharp 1/2inch chisel look up through the grille and see the plastic tray under the lock carefully cut slot 1 cm long and 1 cm from left edge and 1cm in from centre rivet holding the tray
Bend this flap down and prop open with fat screwdriver on right hand side
Bend coat hanger into hook to loop over the lever with the spring on the left hand side and pull
This will open the bonnet
This took me 1/2 an hour and then

10 mins to fix new cable 25£ from main dealer
No point fitting secondhand or cheap copy

Nice, i would have cut a hole in the boner with an angle grinder :)

But it takes all sorts i suppose :D
