Hi, I"m looking at changing my Auto Serengeti for a younger one and have seen another Auto advertised but it has a Auto Fault F4. Could someone tell me what an F4 Fault is and is it expensive??
cheers

I'd avoid it TBH.

An F4 fault is basically saying that the gearbox TCM (gearbox ECU) is in limp mode. It could be due to dozens of potential issues, from a simple solenoid valve, to a speed sensor, or pretty much anything in-between.

I couldn't solve my F4 issue, so sold it on broken.

Tell the seller to have a look on ere for help on how to fix it. Been covered many times.
