I happened to be shopping in livingston( scotland, for those out side the M25 
) today and as i was parking my car something caught my eye, yep it was the new Freelander 2 so i hastily got rid of the missus and went back to have a look, IT IS NICE VERY NICE, about the same length as a "Jeep" and a lot bulkier than the present model, Sad man that i am i took a picture of the interior but cant upload it from my phone as yet, yes i know i should have taken a picture of the exterior(black).
The owner/builder who had brought it up from Chester arrived and i was asking him about it, he has it as an evaluation model (2.2 Diesel) says it drives like a dream more sturdy than the current model averaging 37Mpg whilst he and others had it.
Looks as if it comes with leather as standard and a version of terrain control, but not the top model, also has sat nav as standard.
Iasked the most important question,
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST!!!!!!
Starts at 22,000 for the 2.2 deisel up to 35,000 for the top spec 3.0l \v6.
