Freelander 2 XS 2009 Wiper Jet Issue

Hi, for some reason the wiper jet on my passenger side has decided not to work. I've got water in the tank, the one on the drivers side works fine, the head lamp jets both work fine as does the rear. I have given it a wipe over to see if it is blocked to no avail.

Has anyone had this problem before, or know of any fixes for it ?

As we are now having gritters out the windscreen is getting splashes of this and when I try to clear the screen the dirt is just being smeared across from the non watered half.

Have yer pulled the pipe oft the inside of the jet to see if water comes through the pipe? Is said pipe trapped?

Hi, no I haven't tried that, good shout! I'm not massively experienced with cars.

I will give it a go and report back.

I have the same on my R40 Tourer, just one of the two spray holes is not spurting water, I think it must be a little gunk in the spray hole so the old trick of a sewing needle should put it right
