Freelander 2 sat nav

Morning guys, we swapped our freelander 2 for a higher spec one last night. Only the sat nav button on screen doesn’t work.

is this due to no cd? Does it require one to run? Or is it knackered.

Putting a map dvd into the unit under the drivers seat would be a sensible first step.

If it's got a DVD drive under the driver's seat, then it'll need a disc before it's going to work.
