Freelander 2 rolling noise

I have 2013 Freelander 2 with 96000 miles on the clock. About 10 weeks ago a rolling noise started from towards the back, my local independent garage thought it was a wheel bearing and changed this, but noise still there, they didn't charge me and thought it could be the gearbox or transfer box but as both costly recommended I continue driving it, an increased noise would help them diagnose problem. Noise has increased and took it back yesterday, they took it for a run and put it up on ramp and still not 100% sure what issue is. Took it to independent landrover garage and they think it is the rear diff. There is no loss of power and apart from noise car drives fine, any thoughts on what this could be?

Depends what the noise is. Could be the haldex if it sounds like a bearing. You need to replace the haldex oil and filter. If you don't the pump will get stressed and fail.
