Freelander 2 Glove Box Catch

Our Freelander 2 glove box catch recently failed, thankfully in the open position. I bought a genuine replecement, not cheap compared to the Chinese knock offs' only to find that when I removed the old 'broken' catch, a quick push of the moving bit of the catch sideways and it was fixed! So just saying that if yours fails, remove the old one first before writing it off and see if indeed, you can simply fix it brfore buying a replacement.
