My freelander runs ok had new alternator fitted a week ago my car stopped on reduced power won't start leave it for 30mins it starts then stops again when running plenty of power has anyone got a clue my garage are lost

Fuel blockage, or camshaft/ crankshaft sensor, but it needs diagnostics

Get it took to a proper garage with diagnostics, then bill the garage that fitted the alternator, I suspect they have damaged a wire or something in the process, or ask them to track back over the fitting for any damage ?

I got my car to my 4x4 garage they quickly found the problem was the crankshaft sensor sadly when I picked it up the key module was stuck in I can still drive it my mechanic is looking into ways of fixing it he feels a bit guilty
