Freelander 2.0 di L series

Hi all. Anybody tell me if its a major pain to take the head off the L series 2.0 diesel engine?
Starting the job soon if anyone could give me an idea please. Take it its timing belt etc etc..

think its strait forward enough on a L series,have read a fair bit about it on mg rover.org,you would be better chucking this post in the gaylander section though

Thanks for that. Will try it in gaylander. Was just wondering, seems complicated in the manual..
