Hi Everyone
Our 2001 Freelander which we have had for about 7 years needs an IRD unit, I replaced the VCU unit about 2 years ago, Should I replace the unit or just run it on 2 wheel drive till it’s time to let it go?
The general bodywork and engine are good

I want to replace it in a couple of years time with a Freelander 2 or Discovery 3 or 4

Any comments would be welcome

Thanks

set fire to it!:p:eek:
joke joke.... sorry.;)
welcome to the looney bin.
get it posted up on the freelander section!
if you run it two wheel drive you gain a little more economy and you are not tied to replacing all four tyres... if that is stuck to as a rule?
sell the vcu as a good second hand part and bide your time and wait the second series flealander or one of its bigger brothers.
you will find on here a unbelievable wealth of info. oh... and abuse.:)

Thanks for the advice
Will try and move it up to the Freelander section rather than set fire to it just yet!!
