Hello,
Just posting on here before i add it onto ebay.
I have an Alpine CDE-113BT Parrot Bluetooth / Ipod / Iphone / CD / USB / Aux stereo / headunit that is an ideal upgrade to freelander 1's or TD4's.
Its a brilliant piece of kit, sad to take it out when i sold my freelander. I installed it into my last freelander TD4 for about 6 months before i sold the car.
Plays music off iphone / ipod, USB stick. Has proper parrot bluetooth built in for hands free on the go.
It cost me over £240 when i purchased it from halfords last year.
its a removable (face-off) head unit.
and Proper, official "Parrot" hands free built in - so it saves having to buy and add another seperate parrot kit for the bluetooth.
Plays music through the ipod lead and charges your phone, you can also change tracks on your phone through the remote steering controls. The song name and artist is also displayed on the stereo screen.
lots of options on the stereo.. you can change the colour of the backlighting, how bright the light is etc...
The same head unit is still currently for sale in halfords for £170. please see the attached link for details:it also has all the specification details on the page.
Fits all TD4's, XDI's or 1.8's. but not sure if the remote steering will work with the others, but i know for sure it will work in TD4's with steering controls.
The cables included are to suit Freelander TD4's 2004 onwards
Also included is everything you need to install it into a 2004 onwards TD4 freelander.
> The Double din facia adapter
> freelander td4 Wiring harness
> and remote steering control (AutoleadsPC99-X32) harness so that your steering controls will still work with the new alpine head unit.
> microphone (for the Parrot handsfree)
I have had a look but i cant find the receipt for the head unit but i found the user and installation manual.
I cant say anymore really about the head unit, all i can say is you get what you pay for ! I decided not to go down the cheaper head unit route as i wanted something that would function well and last.
Ideal Upgrade for existing OEM head units.
sad to see it go but only as it wont work with my new range rover ! LOL
Im looking for £130 for the lot including delivery.
I hope i have listed enough infomation and pictures. if not then just ask away
PM me if your intrested
thanks
