Hi all,

I have changed the standard headlight bulbs in my freelander 1 to a 80 / 100.

My question is do i need to put a relay in to protect wires and headlight stork or will it be as as standard.

I'd swap them back matey they're illegal :/

as per kev, they are indeed illegal.

Osram nightbreaker plus are legal and very highly regarded, and will not require a switch or relay upgrade.

not ****ing on your parade, fit what you like to your vehicle, just letting you know the facts.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies.

The vehicle is used mainly for shooting / lambing etc.
Although the freelander is taxed and tested, the likelihood of driving on a public highway of a night is very unlikely.

I will bear your comments in mind though and will possibly give the legal ones a go if they are that good.

just bought some Osram nightbreaker plus limited edition lamps.

Will give them a go and let you know what I think
