Freelander 1 - Interior Courtesy Lights Issue

I have recently purchased a Freelander 1 (2004) and I am beginning to do some repairs (admittedly not knowing much about anything).

One of the issues I have is that the interior courtesy light switches dont seem to work. the central light in the front and the rear light both come on with the doors opening but the front side lights don'. And none of the lights switches seem ato do anything at all.

Im not sure where to start troubleshooting, whether to try and replace the switches themselves or just to replace the whole unit and pick up another from ebay.

Also the connector from the front courtesy light could probably do with replacing, but I have no idea how to go about getting another one, there is only 1 marking on the connector - RKG (see pics below).

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Side lights on front interior light operate with switch push buttons. If that doesn't work clean contacts on pcb where plug fits.
