Hi Members.
I am thinking of changing my front discs at the moment they are a solid disc ( ie as have no slots or drilled holes ) but are vented.

I was looking at changing them for slotted and drilled front discs is this possible or would I have to change the calipers as well ? any advice is most appreciated cheers Arctic2

PS would these be ok and as anyone used them if how are they or was they

Think you confused the issue by saying you had solid discs. Vented discs fitted from vin 1A000001, 2001MY. Solid discs before that.

what are you asking , calipers would only need swapping if you change from solid to vented discs or vice a versa been grooved or drilled has no bearing on calipers

Drilled and grooved are not the same as vented....

Yes sorry my fault as I originally put solid disc as in they had no slots or drilled holes so I confused the situation of the question, they are vented but have no slots or drilled holes, so my question should have been can I change to the disc in the link, and if so as anyone used this type cheers Arctic2

I have drilled and groves discs that are also ventilated on my '06 FL1.

I have had lots of problems, as I use it off-road and will be changing back to 'plain' vented discs as soon as I can.

Lots of noise, grinding sounds (probably need cleaning out) and squeals.

I don't think the are worth it.
