Freelander 1 faults but only one when the wife drives?

We are down to one car as we have a van for the business
So basically last 12m the wife takes the freelander to work .
How come it never as a issue with me long short journey ever
But almost every mouth I get the phone call your car is doing this your car is doing that , then by magic when I get home it as stopped ‍♂️As anyone else have this problem
 
I get the opposite.
The wife drives her every day, but it's often weeks between drives of it for me.
Every time I get in, it always seems to have a little issue, one she knows nothing about. :oops:
 
When my partner drives my 04 TD4 SE the engine warning light will regularly come on & the vehicle will go into limp mode - she’ll pull over and turn off for 30secs then restart & all ok to carry on - this scenario never happens with me driving it
