Freelander 1.8K Series. Engine / vibration noise once hot

I have a 2001 1.8K Petrol Freelander which the engine make a unusual noise and the entire car shakes but only when the engine is hot. I can only describe the noise as sort of a lumpy tick over.

I have found the if I remove the PAS and or Alternator belts the noise / vibration stops.

Does anyone know what might be causing it?

Check crank pulley as rubber bonding may have failed

I have had a look and it has a solid crank pulley. Any other idea's?

is the centre nut not quite tight enough, or probably the pulley is not fitted correctly, it has a crude recess that fits over a small tit(cast mound) on the timing pulley. so it's not running true.
