I am having a sort out in my garage next week and I am chucking out a running 1970 2.25P engine comes complete and ready to drop in.

There is a few of us in the Series section looking for a 'communal spare' whilst we overhaul our own. This is too good to be true! Unfortunately I am miles away. I'll see if anyone else is closer...

Having trouble blowing up the pics, is that a Zenith carb?

Still having issues with mine. Don't suppose you fancy selling just the carb?

I'm trying to get a mate with a van up for a run to see the Cornish Rattler to collect this and have it as the communal spare. The carb looks Zenith BB. If I end up with the engine i'm happy to send it on FOC (if Rattler hasn't already).

Don't really want to strip it would prefer it to go complete as it came out, yes it is a zenith carb

I'm leaving everything on so you can decide what to do with it as for me its to good to weigh in, was going to refit it into the 2a as the comps was 160 psi on all 4 cylinder's but I ended up with a spare 200tdi engine that I have fitted to the 2a rebuild already so no need for the 2a engine

What carb is it your having probs with ?

Zenith 36IV, keeps blocking jets ever since I sucked up gunk from the tank despite having it apart and blowing it out several time and a noo inline filter.

It's also worn around the throttle link and leaks a bit. I'd like to get it refurbed really but it's sat on top of me injun and is quite useful.

I've got a gasket set you can have, it's for a 34/36 so may help ....
