When I was involved in building kitcars, we used to buy the V5 document and the chassis plate, and it was sufficient to register the kitcar with the 'donor' cars registration.
So, I presume that this is a similar thing?
scooter lads sell lambretta /vespa frames with matching log books,but all the numbers match ,this is ok,the dodgy part of thisland rover is the vehicle id...

quite a few years ago I was at kettering parts fair,
and I think it was scooter restorations ltd,
had found a supply of brand new unregisterd Indian lambretta bare frames,
all with no id.
how they got round that i dont know,
but they all went, and very expensive too!
just looked at your photos of T5 & old skool lammie skelly.... V - nice..
back to story,
you gotta be carefull just what bargains you can buy out there,
as some go back to there real owners in the end!
