Hi all,

As I know you UK people are very carminded and as I also know you're in lack of the following car overthere :)D :D ) here a picture of my daughtger's car which becomes for sale since she needs a 4/5 doors as next year 2 kids. If any of you is interested, it is a car that used to be very famous, this one is a special and limited edition of it, a real collector's item. Here the picture to let you know about what car it handles. Guess it will be known to 'some' of the guys overthere, if not, just ask and I'll give more details about what make etc.. it is.:p :p :p

Will add the picture in a sec. as if I start manipulating it now I'll loose my above input and too lazy to type it in twice.:D

Damn right. I just came close to shelling that out for a 1969 rolling shell. (did have the magical "s" on the log book though)

Is it a Hippo?

I'll give you a clue,

It's NO Hippo, nor a Camel.

It's been built in rememberence of 4 consecutive years (30 years before) of victory in a famous motorcar rally.:D :D

Hi mondo,

Yes, during these 'original' days I drove a Morris Mini 850 (with the Hydrolastic suspension) myself, had 4 spacers of 3 cm on it with Dunlop Sport tires and a huge Abarth exhaust (with the whole interior tubing and glassfiber taken out;) :D :D ) with two beautifully chroom pipes giving a deep sound as if a big V8 was growling instead of the tiny 850....:) :) :) ) have had good fun with it exccept when doing on holidays and fully loaded, on the motorway half of the time the body was hitting the tires which came out of the wheelarch about 2 cm, but as I had to change tires every year (were only 10" wheels and as there were these days no speed limits overhere:D ) I wear out a couple of front tires in 15.000 kms.
