I recently bought this range rover off ebay for £425.00 and I am selling it on to the first person to stumps up £300 or offers me a swap for another car that has a tow bar and an mot.

This is definately worth repairing or would be good for spares. It has a good engine and good lpg kit on it so you could convert your landrover to lpg on the cheap. I drove it 300 mile from OKEHAMPTON, Devon to worksop without any problems.
I needs some welding to the back end of the chassis where the tow bar is fixed.

It needs plating/welding done to the rear floor side bits at the back. The center rear floor panel looks like its been replaced.

It needs rear upper tail gate as the one on it is rusted badly.

It needs the brakes sorting out.

It needs a general tidy up at the back end.

This is the link to the ebay ad when I bought it:

make me a silly offer:)

Why so desperate to get rid so soon after buying it?

Your right I am desparate. I need a car with a tow bar. I have a little gardening business and at the moment I can't work because I dont have a car on the road. I can't fix it and get it through the mot because I don't have the cash to do the work. Simple as that, catch 22.

Is the LPG single point or Sequential ?

Don't know I will try to find out for you.

This was part of the description in the ebay auction about the lpg system

It is fitted with an LPG system through Pressland Autogas, with two under-slung tanks (and so keeps the original petrol system and does not compromise boot space). Along with all the usual high quality components, this system also includes an automatic spark adjuster unit to maximise ignition efficiency when switching between petrol/LPG.

How can I tell if it is single point or Sequential ? Any Tips anyone?

I dont have any lpg paperwork for the car.

I do have bill receipts for the car totalling £1000's though

Its a shame you can get it through the MOT because it looks good. A towbar wouldnt cost that much. Know any welders?

Can't find a welder round my way that would do it cheap enough.
The tow bar is ok. Its the back of the chassis that the tow bar is bolted to that needs plating/welding plus the rear floor side panels that need replacing.

Plus it needs the brakes sorting out and a new rear bumper and rear upper tail gate as the metal round the edges of the window are rusted through and too bad to repair. all in all about £200 worth of work. Money I just dont have right now. It is right bargain at £300. I may even take a bit less for a quick sale. and It would have be quick because I am desparate to get another to get back to work. NO CAR NO WORK. Simple as that. Thanks for your Interest.
