Hello,

Yeah they're not to difficult.

I didnt remove the entire footwell though, i just cut out about 1/2 of it and used a new footwell to make a repair patch.

Made my own but my bulkhead wasn't as bad as most. Just folded up some 1.2mm steel to the same dimensions.
You might as well look at doing the outriggers while you have the access.

Yeh thats the thing is can I be bothered doing that or leave that bit until the summer. I'm already repairing the seat and battery box, new sills.

As said, easy with bits from YRM, they just fit .. ;)

I'd do them while you have the rest apart, the more room you have the better.

“While you have access”......? What has to come off? Wheel and....Wing....or what else?

Just ordering YRM outriggers and footwells.....and C pillar sections ......and probably rear floor upstand kit from a quick look after MOT failure. Oh well after 17 years and 220k probably deserves some TLC.

Hints and tips gratefully received. Cheers , A

Door off helps, just for constantly moving from in to outside the vehicle .. Keep yer cap on though! ;)

How I did 'stuff', parts in this thread ... First and this ... Second

payydg - sorry for rather a hijack, tho fully on-topic....... :D

YRM outriggers n bolts, footwells, C Pillar inserts all on the way (soon mounts up......) - and I'll be looking at the Fertan for the rest of the (hopefully) sound chassis. Great help chaps as usual, thanks, A

Have you fitted them yet? Just wondering how the fit as the floor on my 200 now looks like the flintstones car so I need a set

Arrived within 3 days....great service.

I’m not someone who should be allowed anywhere near a welder.....I’m having it done next few weeks by an expert....will let you know what he thinks of them when he’s had the chance to examine the whole lot and come up with a (long I’d guess) list of jobs to attack..... ;-). Cheers A
