I could do sweary words but save you the details. Jumped in the Landy this morning at 5.00 am to go to airport. Duffed out whining battery forced rapid switch to Polo. End result made flight; ****ed No 1 son n seriously hacked wifey who had to extract unlocked Polo from P&R. I'm on a pleasseee pick me up at 10.00 tomorrow night. Then I must charge the battery.......
Flat battery at 5.00am!

been there many times 
used to drive in to ealing and catch the tube in the days before cars had alarms to say the lights were still on, spent many an hour of an evening waiting for the aa to come and give me a jump.
one of the best things I ever bought was one of those portable jump starters, saved me more times than I can remember, definitely worth the money
could you not have used the polo to jump start the other?

Great thing about owning a series Landy and a Morris minor van is they BOTH have starting handles! No problem with a flat battery!
