I am going to replace my rear brake pipes of 2004 D2 td5. Having done lots of internet search, some uses SAE flare tool and other DIN one. It seems to me that SAE one produces double flare and DIN one bubble flare. But a seller told me their SAE tool can produce bubble flare too, it has different form. Anyway, If I understand correctly, flare type depends on brake pipe hoses including jump flexi hoses. I looked at my new BRITS part brake hoses, it looks funnel shaped, does it mean I need DIN bubble tool https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282619615626?? Does D2 use DIN bubble flare only. In case I need a connector, do I have to use DIN female union to mate with two DIN M10 male unions?
