FL2 Window regulator replacement

Hi everyone I've final got my replacement window regulator , I've had a search on here but have not found much in the way of instructions, so I was just wondering if anyone has any guidance on replacing the regulator on my freelander 2 drivers side currently the window is stuck down my main concern is at what point do I unlink the glass from the clips, does window position matter . Any guidance would be appreciated.

If you search on youtube you should find some videos, if you can't find one for the window regulator search for one for replacing the locking mechanism, you have to remove the window regulator to do that.
You need the window all the way up, use gaffer tape to fix it to the door frame, then unclip the regulator
