FL2 - Fan been on for 2 hours when keys out?

Hi all.
Wife drove FL back 2 hours ago, turned engine off and the fan stayed on and is still on? Temp gauge is midway, as it always is and there is coolant in the reservoir although we have been getting the 'low level' for a few days (I know, I know)

Presumably the temp sensor is faulty. Is saying the engine is hot, so the ECU is keeping the fans on.

Dunno if the car will start and run if you disconnect the sensor, and it may run the fans as soon as the ignition is on, but would be interesting to see how long they run after it is disconnected.
