Ok so the FL2 has been standing on the drive without being driven, in that year was it started anytime, i also presume that the fuel is a year old, which is not good, it could have the black bacterial bug you can get from diesel being old in the fuel tank.
Again i am presuming the fuel filter will be more than two years old, so my first step would be to change the fuel filter, not after market but LR one, maybe drop some bacterial bug killer in the tank, also a bottle of injector cleaner.

I'm not saying you have the diesel bug, but if you do then.
Here are the steps you can take to treat diesel bug:
- Drain and clean your fuel tank. ...
- Add a biocide to your fuel. ...
- Run your engine for a period of time to circulate the biocide through the fuel system. ...
- Replace your fuel filters. ...
- Monitor your fuel system for signs of further contamination.
