Typical this has happened just before xmas....
Basically, came out to the landy and the clutch was really spongy, looked at the fluid reservoir and it was pretty empty, so toped it up, and with a bit of pumping all seemed fine, bar a bit spongy. I then started to bleed the clutch, and all was going well, until the bleed valve/nipple disintegrated. I'm not sure what the valve is made of, but it actually crumbled away. So basically i am now sitting with a landy which cant move, and all the garages are booked up until the new year. I suppose the question is, can i bleed anywhere else (even as a temporary fix), or can the valve be replaced.
I should clarify that the belled valve is the one on the bell housing, and the car is a 2010 FL2 TD4e. The slave cylinder was replaced about 2 years ago as well.
thanks all
