How can something so simple be such a pain.
Got the bench seats with 2 brackets and 4 bolts. I think I've tried every combination but still can't see how to get them to fit!!
Do I need to drill holes or can I use those slots on my tub to thread the bracket into!!

Any help would be really gratefully received.
Oh, its on a 1990 defender 90

Thanks,

Jon

I think i put the bracket on the back of the back rest pointing up, this clips under the rim that runs around under the windows. The 2 bolts go in the bottom of the back rest into the tub, if i remember right.

the ones on my 110 fitted into the slots on the sides of the tub and had a bracket on the front that bolted into the wheel boxes.. Are yours fixed or folding seats?

They're folding seats so I assume you don't bolt through the tub!!
I have managed to squeeze the brackets into the slot in the tub but only by using one bolt and squeezing it in. Now I can't get the other bolt in and how on earth will I tighten it. Still it seems I'm going in the right direction!! Thanks all

If it's folding I seem to remember there been 2 holes in the back section where it sits on the tub (it is 4 years ago) that you drill thru & bolt to the tub to stop the back from sliding out.

Does this help?
