My window tops i.e. the bit where the glass slides on snags on I was told that if you fit a plastic strip these was better than the felt ones does make the window slid easier, and how do you stop the water in the door tops falling inwards.ī

The "Slideway" strips should be held in with very small self tapping screws. These should be fitted at an angle into the channel so they do not snag on the glass. Make sure the water drain is clear when fitting and give it a blast now and again with an airline to keep free. Water and Land Rovers go together, in 35 years I have never had one that did not ship in some water. Worst offender was a 110 V8 that filled its footwells if reversed on to the drive but not if driven straight in !
