Firstly hi everyone,
Ive just purchased my first defender which is a 1999 defender 90 td5 county pack, ive loved them since being a kid and think compared to other 4x4s they just look the part from all angles, great covered in mud but also nice and clean parked outside a country pub,i never really looked into actually owning one due to buying a new home and how well they hold there price,2 year ago when i eventually got snowed in and my little car would not move off the drive i decided to buy a small daihatsu sportrak to see me through the winter (never knew a £500 jeep could be so much fun) after selling this i decided i wanted a nicer 4x4 as liked the idea of the go anywhere any weather kind of approach, so opted for a shogun pinin (as the defender price range was out of grasp) but last years snow saw me my girlfriend and our 10 month old labrador puppy stuck on a back lane close to home but then round the corner came a jacked up steriod bulging defender 110 which offered us a tow out of the drift, me and my girlfriend both looked at each other and thought no way can he pull himself out with us connected up to the back aswell, 10 mins later we were back home and searching for a 90 the search continued till now.. cant wait to pick it up tomorrow ill try and post pics if i know how and where to upload them too, hope i havent bored you too much, thanks for reading,
