First ever Landy!

Day four of being a Landy Newbie! We've bought a P Reg Discovery - 2.5TDI. It's in great condition for the year and was bought to be more utilitarian than the little Clio that I used to drive.

I have to admit - it did feel a bit like driving a bus when I first got into it, what with a great big red beak in front of me - but I love it now and it is a suprise how much you can see from up there!

I have a query about the remote central locking, but will ask this on another page.

That's what's wrong with mine then.
It's burgundy, but I guess that counts as red.
And I keep getting stuck on small inclines in fields.
And I thought it was the tyres.
But no, it's the colour.
Does it need to be sprayed or can I just brush on some smoothrite?

I'm not worried - it'll be covered in mud in a week, then you won't be able to tell what colour it is!

Mine's red and it goes up hills a treat! It's not the colour that matters, it's the driver.

I whas jahoking! It gets up hills, just has problems with grass fields. Mud tyres on tomorrow and we'll be alright.
