First Defender

Hi there, I bought my first Defender last month. I love it, its an 03 its got 139k on the clock, TD5 but sounds and runs pretty well. No major rusting that I can see nor major leaks. As you can see from the pics I have made a couple of changes, and have also installed sound deadening on the rear floor and above the wheels arches.
Will try to do some sound deadening on the bonnet next. Is the bonnet easy to remove?

Easy peasy to remove.

open it and lean it back against the windscreen then a person on either side and it should lift straight off and out of the hinges

Does it have a James Bond type revolving number plate? Always wanted one myself

Very nice!

I’d be inclined to keep it standard with a few subtle upgrades if needed. Just spend out on security measures.
