Hi guys, I've done some extensive searching on the site (and Google) but not come up with the answer...
I'm just about to buy some side bars for my baby (2003 TD5 90), but I'm not too keen on forking out for the main $tealer parts.
I've been looking at these,,,
Land Rover Defender 90 Tubular Side Steps, Fire and Ice Style Black - LR008379 | eBay
Does anyone have any idea what the chassis changes were at around 2003 MY, some side bars have two standard looking brackets evenly spaced along the side bars and others (like in the link) have the front bracket further forward and turned through 90 degrees ? I think this style will fit my 90 but I'm not certain.
Has anyone already been through this process ? and also are the rubber tread blocks on these style of bars quite sturdy ? my other choice is the standard XS style bars in black with the 'normal' silver chequer plate flat tops.
Too many choices
Thanks in advance guys, I've been trying to find some definitive answers for a while now.
