Yup!

Some of you may have responded to my thread in the newbie area a few weeks ago. Thanks for taking the time to chat.

I finally made up my mind and am now an extremely happy owner of a Mk3 Freelander Td4 Freestyle.

FreWryns.jpg

Day 1 & 2 I ran it in - Around the Cheshire Plain for about 700 miles
Day 3 It was put to work in the Lakes around Ulpha
Day 4 Further north to Cockermouth
A rest for a few days and then back to Ambleside and Ulpha via Wrynose
Down to the Medway, back to the North and again South, this time to Oxfordshire. I've just got back to the North West after 3 weeks and 2,500 miles on the clock already, this truly is a superb vehicle for travel in all conditions.

I hope I'm not away so long next time but I just can't help climbing in and driving!

Is yours a mk3? or is a it mk2? I thought the mk3 was the new one just brought out, is that a mk4 then?

Anyone?

The New one is a Freelander 2 and completely different animal. Nice though. The Mk3 is 2004 onwards (I believe) "old shape" if you like.

Thanks for the complements. I think it was a good choice. ;)

I've just ordered a Stainless Steel Wheel Cover for it. Does anyone know of a 'Good' artist in the North West that can do me a logo for it. I've seen some really corny stuff and frankly it makes them look cheap. I just need something really simple (White on Black).

I've not decided yet what to do but if there are some pics to check out, post a link if you can someone.
