Steering seems a lot easier all of a sudden!

Must remember to check the pressure as in my experience these tyre places just put a random amount in them!

Looking forward to getting them very muddy!

Yeah, not bad price, 4 x £72.85 - General Grabber AT2's 255/65/16's nice chunky all-terrain tread. Will do me the rest of the time I have the car - should get 50k out of them I hope. They've also got holes for putting studs into :D No idea where I would get hold of them, but I need some! :D

£200 for 4x18's is bloody good! I guess the 18 is a more common size than the 16 now, so they will probably get cheaper than the 16's. My mother has an Audi A2 on 17in alloys, the tyres cost £94ea! That was the absolute cheapest my father managed to find. They are only 185's, but just a really stupid, very uncommon size.

:) nice one mine are still new done no miles i had them fitted and an hour later my engine went but now i have one just building it all up not much time with work put i`m getting there hoping to get most of it done now over the weekend end a lot of the plugs broke when i took of the wireing loom heat i take it:mad: just waiting on my intercoolers now when i took mine off the threads stripped:mad: just hope it`s all worth it now:confused:

Checked the tyre pressures today after driving out for a while with a very harsh ride and weird front-end stability.

Fronts were 37 one side, 39 the other - they are supposed to be 28! Bloody tyre places. Rears were both 40+, which I'll let them get away with as they are supposed to be 38.

Ride is rather better now, and none of the scary handling on the way back!

First impressions of my first real trip out on them are good. No noticable increase in road noise, which I was really worried about and seems to be plenty of grip at low and high speeds.

Matt.

I bought them from Paddocks, but had them fitted at a local place I normally get my tyres from. No-one around here could get them for me, so I had to order them in myself.

The place charged me £10 per wheel for fitting the tyres - valve, balancing etc. Paddocks would fit them for free, but it is a bit far for me to drive! Delivery was free on them though.
