Hmmm... common story. Have you tried your local independent (non franchise) workshop?

Cheers

Hello,

I've had the exact same problem, due to a change in legal regs, Land Rover will no longer supply the brakets. You can still buy the fixing kit for around 18 quid but not the brackets. The solution like I have done is to have some made up at a local fabrication place. My mate has his own business and made some spot on brackets that now happily hold on my A-bar. If anybody needs any further then feel free to contact me.

This same thing happened to a customer of ours last week. Not sure what he did tho, I think he found the brackets for sale online somewhere.

the soft abs A bars that everyone now fits to the front of their 4x4 do not fall into any legislation group. this is due to the fact that apart from looking a bit rufty tufty they wouldn't do any damage to a wood pidgeon if it flew into one. they are about as much use as a choccolate fireguard. ;)

Yep, mines a good old fashioned solid metal one, ideal for bouncing people out the way (joke). Can get away with it cos mines a 2000 and I can plead innocent saying it was on there from day 1.

Oh yes, I forgot that what they're for, have a nice whopping pair (spotlights that is) stuck on it already!
