FAO Ming

2000 miles now done on vegge mix - ive just fitted a heat exchanger and am now going to go down the route of 2 tanks as it dont like the cold! Refinary is under way - second hand chip fat is horrid!!!

Wot type heat exchanger and were did ya fit it , here ya can get a really small electrical heater that runs a bit like a glow plug i s/ pose, only it keeps a pre set temperature, but your the only freelander that i have heard of using it so far . . .

heat exchanger is one copper tube running inside another - Im not after heating it to 80deg at this point, its just there to get fuel through the filter, the fuel pump gets plenty hot enough to heat the fuel to the correct temp for the injectors. I also made a 2 heater plug pre-heater but to be honest I cant see the point in using it if im going for 2 tanks (I make steam engine boilers in my spare time so this sort of thing is easy!!!). Anyone bought one of robs tuning boxes yet - truely awesome !!!
