I have for sale a complete, and I do mean complete, Fairey pto winch including the bumper and wire that came from a 200tdi 110.
Includes a full set of driveshafts, uj's and brackets.
Pto unit includes gearlever etc.
I have known this winch for over 25 years and its always been a reliable and fantastic workhorse, but I no longer intend having a suitable vehicle for it, so it has just sat in storage in my dry garage for the past couple of years.

Now reduced to £450
May consider a quad winch in px plus cash.

Collection only from North Yorkshire.

Send me a whatsapp number for further pictures.

Not from me as I already have one.
Might be worth showing pics of the pto/shafting/support bearings/lever and linkages.

Also worth mentioning with some shaft length adjustments it should fit pretty much any defender up to and possibly including the td5, giving you a bigger audience.

I reckon 600 quid is maybe a tadge dear, but not to far off the mark, but as you now people are being pretty careful with their money under labour, and not by choice either!

Thank you @lynall for the feedback.
Price now reduced to reflect your comments and I may consider near offers.

I'll dig out the pto box and shafts to take relevant pictures.

When I got mine about 10 or so years ago, I had a real job finding one, in the end the one I bought needed loads of refurb work as it looked to have been used in the timber industry and was pretty shagged, think I pad circa 250 for it.

I have known this winch from the mid 90's as it belonged to a good friend of mine, who has now passed hence in my ownership.
We did a number of Bulldog Trophy challenge events using it along with many greenlane outings.
Anyone remember those events organised by Brian Hartley IIRC?

We competed both together in one vehicle, and also as a team in two vehicles pairing my 8274 with his pto: a phenomenal combination.

If you want a winch that will simply pull all day i.e. tool not toy, then this is one of only a few to have.
