You are/were spamming in a fairly loose sense of the word and to my
knowledge all the groups you posted to are non advertising groups. Full
stop. Learn and move on? Please?

Well done, more than many would have done.
Did you search the archive for people moaning like **** about adverts
though? It does happen from time to time, try selling something in one of
the more nettiquette-militant newsgroups like uk.rec.motorcycles or
uk.telecom or something. There are much bigger assholes about than me.

Fair point I suppose.
If I knew where to find a charter for any of the groups in question I'd have
pointed you at it politely and ask respectfully that you don't do the same
sort of thing again.
However, so many people munge their email addresses to the point they are
near indecipherable these days however that I didnt even think to try yours.
Plus I felt like a good old public moan.
