Anyone know this defender bought it Tuesday
Thinking on selling the cage off it what you think it’s worth

Roll cages come up for sale on eBay and fb marketplace regularly which will help price it. Does it mount onto the chassis or is it a non structural one for looks only? If it does fit onto the chassis, removing it may leave holes in the bodywork. Personally, I’d leave it but each to their own.

Even if it is a non structural one it will Still leave the bolt Holes in body work. Things like that once fitted are best left fitted as they take a huge amount of work to remove and put back original otherwise. Also if it is a proper to the chassis job it potentially needs a lot of body work removing before you can cut off the chassis mounts, whcih will be welded on, without the chassis mounts the cage will not have any resale value.

Agree, like I said, I’d leave it.
