Series 3 Exmoor rhino hood canvas

Looking at getting a new canvas for the lightweight and exmoor are having a stock clearance and the grey rhino canvas for a swb is just under £200 (considerably cheaper than the conventional canvas hoods

Has anybody had any dealings with these hoods ? any reason why i should spend the extra money

So maybe exmoor have not sold many of these new style hoods then ?

Pondered it then just waterproofed the old tilt instead. Saved about 170 quid. More dough for other bits.

I dont have a tilt atm ,just bought sticks and looking for a tilt
