Hi all my wife has 2012 evoque it has the front tv screen but wants to change it to the screen that can be watched by front passenger but sat still used by driver is this possible?
Like your driving licence if the screen can be seen by the driver.Oooh, it'll depend on how integrated it is into the cars infotainment system. You could lose certain things.
Just buy a tablet and watch TV on that. That's why i was thinking about the twin split screen so i can only see satnav etc, while other half can watch tv on long journey.
It’s not a split screen/2 screen, it’s a dual view screen. Left and right see different views on 1.Just buy a tablet and watch TV on that.
Adding another screen to the infotainment system would be either impossible, or so expensive it's prohibitive to do.

What I would say is, if you must watch something on a screen tablet/etc, sit in the back so as not to distract the driver,Can’t happen. Put in D and the driver can’t see TV.

Ah, one if those clever duel image screens, giving different images from left to right viewers. It’s not a split screen/2 screen, it’s a dual view screen. Left and right see different views on 1.
works great in ours, if it was fitted as an option it is possible.

If it was an option, then technically it's possible to fit it. However knowing how complicated the electronics on these vehicles is, it's likely not easy to retrofit without additional modules, wiring and extensive coding.I have seen a 12 plate with them in
