Been stalking about on here for a while and posted my second thread tonight so thought I'd better get off my BS and say hi.

Hi....

Own a 98 Disco 300 TDi which I bought in 99. I've still got it....why....because I love it. It's a bit like a family pet every time it's ill you say to yourself I'll only spend so much at the vets this time and then it's curtains, but you never do and your hand goes in the pocket again.
It's currently been off the road for 2 months following a failed MOT, rear floor, sills and chassis rot. Corroded break pipes and a track rod end. Nothing new on this forum. Just about to get the floor back in having done everything else and this evening posted a question about plastic fuel unions. Anyway, the forum has been a great help over the years so here's a big thank you for all your help and knowledge past and present

Welcome but it seems that after running a D1 for 13 years and keeping it on the road you should be given honorary senior member status.
I've had a D2 for a week and already have scars on my wrist, hand and wallet. And an excuse to drive it whenever I can.
