Hello every one, I presently run 2 range rovers on my home produced Bio Diesel (all the tests say it is to British Standard) so no problems thus far, one is a 2000 2.5 DHSE and the other a 2003 3.0 TD6, both run exceptionally well with no issues whatsoever, so whats the question you may ask yourself?
Well, I fancy an upgrade!!!!!
Have been looking for what is in the budget and 2 models fit the price tag.
A 2006 TDV8 3.6 Vogue and a 2008 TDV8 3.6 Sport both have the Euro 4 engine with factory fitted DPF(Diesel Particulate Filter)
Now all the experts say not a prayer of running on Bio, one of them being my local Main Dealer!
Yet search the internet and people seem so be doing it.
So is there any one out there running one of these vehicles on Bio that knows what they are talking about?
Whats involved in removing the DPF/re-mapping etc (do you actually have to remove the filter at all)
Any advice would be gratefully accepted
Mark
