Hmmm. Came on when I started the car last night on the way to my son's. Stayed on the whole trip (45 mins) despite stopping and starting the engine a few times. A few hours later we set off for home and the damn thing came up again when I started the car. No noticeable change in performance. No other lights on the dash. Went to bed and lay awake worrying about it all night (only kidding)
Got up this morning, plugged in my OBDII code reader. Started the car. NO Engine Warning Light. Dammit! I hate faults that mysteriously go away.
Read all the alarms (there's always a few), but nothing unexpected from the ECM module, just P0380, the glowplugs, which have been u/s for 15 years and have never brought up the engine warning light despite the Warning Indicator Requested in the alarm description.
The EGR valve usually throws up a couple of alarms since I bypassed it years ago. Nothing this time since the alarms were last cleared (pre-MOT in October). Perhaps they've given up .
B10EA Positive temperature coefficient heater. An old problem. Heater works for a while then blows its fuse.
The others? No idea what they represent, but they shouldn't bring up the engine warning light.
