engine problem

Hi everyone my mum has got on one of her range rovers 1998 dse 2.5 litre engine. The problem is when she was going down the road it just stopped and smoke fills the air from the engine and a pool of oil appears under the engine. I was told it could be the turbo seal but was woundering if anyone actually knows what the fault is as my mum has now been forced to get another newer range rover but the other one is in the way so I need to know what the fault is to move it as I had to put it there to get it of the road.

Why not call a mechanic pal !! It's how some people earn an actual living !!!

Also consider these 2 points.

1. It is considered impolite on this forum to ask for help on your first post without introducing yourself beforehand.

2. Punctuate what you write. I mean this seriously. Your question is hard to understand due to lack of punctuation.

sorry for the lack of punctuation but mechanics, they were the one that blow the problem in the fist place. Try to denied it because of the cost but he has now been forced to replace it now anyway.

Really not sure about that one either. What is clear is that you are not talking about 19j engine.
If you have introduced yourself now, try posting it in the Range Rover section.
